Dozens of entries. Four winners. One blood-curdling, fan-fueled frightfest.
The first Exotico® Mistico Film Contest was a pumpkin-smashing success. Fan submissions ranged from ghastly ghosts to creepy creatures in the night to true tales of terror. Some submitted pictures. Others toiled at the fright of an empty Exotico Tequila bottle. (Don’t worry, we’ve got you covered on that last one.)
Short films inspired by winning fan submissions were brought to life on the Social Screen and shared throughout October. Winners were sent a basket of movie night goodies to celebrate their cinematic debuts, to boot. We’ve compiled all the shorts below for you to enjoy, along with dreadfully delicious cocktail recipes to toast to another Halloween season done right.
Thanks to winners Amber Valmonte, Jeff Farris, Ariel Relaford and Desiree Mabe for all the thrills!

In case the sugar skull on our bottle didn’t give it away, we’re big fans of the Day of The Dead. We love the meaning and mystique of it all, and we enjoy a good cocktail that represents the celebration and all its revelry.
